This year's Entrepreneurship Summit - October 22-23, 2022 - will once again feature our annual Proof of Concept competition.

On Saturday, the 10 founders will present their product or service on the main stage in the Audimax after the lunch break. Afterwards, they have until Sunday afternoon to test their product/service directly on the market, generate first sales and get valuable feedback from the Entrepreneurship Summit participants. You will find their booths on the upper floor of the Henry Ford Building.

Giving & taking good feedback - with feedback pins

Giving and receiving feedback is not that easy - often we lack a safe framework, the necessary time, a neutral basis for discussion or the courage to be honest. But good feedback is essential for understanding how our actions affect others.

Based on 30 different values, the feedback pins help you create small moments of reflection that shed light on your actions in specific situations. Guidance helps you and your counterpart enter the situation and learn to give and accept good feedback.

beosh – the handbag that hands back

My name is Melanie Wirth and I am the founder of beosh - the handbag that hands back.

beosh is an innovative and sustainable bag label made of vegan cactus leather, produced fairly and by hand in a small manufactory in Germany.

Our first collection consists of three designs for all basic bag needs of the modern business woman. The design is deliberately chosen minimalist-unisex and thus also for men a companion that shines through style, sporty aesthetics and sustainable awareness.

There is the crossbody bag for leisure and going out, a shopper that can be converted into a backpack in no time including laptop compartment and intelligent interior, as well as a hand luggage compliant weekender for travel, sports and yoga. All three designs are made from vegan cactus leather and come in black, moss green and a bright mango hue.

beosh bags make not only the wearer of the bag happy, but also the animal and environment, because no animals have to suffer or die for our bags. In addition, a share of the sales proceeds flows into an ocean project, which the customer:in co-determines with the purchase itself. Because appreciation is written in capital letters in everything I do, every customer can look forward to a special that always reminds them when they wear the bag: every consumer decision must give something back - therefore: beosh - the handbag that hands back.

Used beosh bags can also be sold back to us, the customer receives a voucher for the new collection in return and new customers can enjoy the used pieces in the vintage sale. This makes us the first bag label to not only offer stylish, vegan and sustainable products, but also our own recycling system to extend the life of the bags.

Imagine that you can control your behavior in a desired direction through your clothing. So that you become, for example, a bit braver, friendlier or even more generous.

"Internal signaling" is the keyword in behavioral psychology.

In studies, trigger words such as "generous" were printed on the inside of T-shirts so that only those wearing them could read the writing. The behavioral difference from those who wore the writing on the outside or none at all was subsequently measurable.

We now want to enhance clothing, starting with T-shirts, with positive "internal signaling" messages. We do this, however, not by simply printing on the inside of the garment, but by embroidering finger-readable Braille, that is, embroidered Braille on the visible and tactile outside.

We enclose a translation table with the garment: Braille - Latin letters.

Our project is aimed at all those who are interested in personal growth through positive psychology, who are sensitive to the challenges of non-sighted people or would like to raise awareness about this, or who love fashion with new, fresh touches to stand out.

The t-shirts make a fitting personalized gift to friends or are ideal as an onboarding gift for new employees.

mysmarTIME - Learn Languages and drink Tea

mysmarTIME stands for everyday products that support language learning. Quite uncomplicated in everyday life.

FEATR

FEATR is a minimalistic software solution for a complex problem: legal security in the creative industry. After answering a few questions, the contract offer can be sent to any number of people and replaces the order confirmation, GTC, briefing and automates invoicing.

The negotiation process should be freed from ballast and thus enables an effective, transparent and comprehensibly managed process. By guiding the process along the essential points of the contract, a fair agreement can be reached in a very short time without any prior legal knowledge.  Through modern, minimalistic interface design, the process should feel as "non-legalistic" and short as possible. The swipe mechanism enables an almost playful exchange with the counterpart. Parallel to the negotiation, a written contract is generated. The simple negotiation process, is contrasted with the pure text in the necessary complexity. The content required by law and market standards is included. It can be viewed and adapted as a full text at any time, but should not be the focus of the user.  The information contained in the contract is clearly presented in a dashboard and made accessible for project management, budgeting, accounting and more.

This is how legal certainty leads to more creativity.

Oskaroo - The digital waiter kangaroo

The restaurant industry is currently experiencing hard times. Many service staff who had to take a break during Corona are not returning to their jobs. As a result, restaurants have shorter opening hours or have to close completely.

In addition, the existing service staff is completely overworked at peak times and can no longer focus on excellent service.

Oskaroo - the digital helper in the restaurant, is a web application for restaurateurs, which quickly and easily digitizes the menu, supports the service staff with repetitive tasks, offers many inspiring comfort functions for the guests and thereby combats in particular the staff shortage caused by Corona as well as increases the turnover of the restaurant.

The digital menu, created by Oskaroo, can be easily accessed via QR code using the restaurant's own smartphone. Guests can also filter the dishes according to their preferences, translate them into their local language, collect their order on a watch list and finally transmit it collectively to the service staff. In addition, payment can be made directly electronically and, if necessary, service staff can be called at the click of a button.

Oskaroo helps restaurateurs to enter the digital world in a simple and cost-effective way. We are an interdisciplinary team of software developers, psychologists, business economists and entrepreneurs and we want to make restaurants fit for the future without losing the unique experience of a good restaurant visit.

Beautiful Cooking – Coaching on the basics of cooking

Cooking for yourself is healthy, saves packaging waste and is such a really nice, sensual activity.

You do not know quite how to cook? In my cooking coaching you will learn the basics of cooking and I will support you in finding your way with it.

You will learn how food 'works', how to optimize its preparation and experiment with this knowledge in the kitchen. Stories about the origins and ingredients of staple foods, spiced with a pinch of art and literature will round out the kitchen meeting. In the end, you will be able to prepare and develop different dishes for yourself - just because you know how.

As a first offer I organize:

Online kitchen meetings 'How the potato ticks'.

In small groups, we'll devote all our time to this earthy and diverse tuber. You will learn what varieties and cooking types are, how to store and prepare them. The latter will be tried out by everyone in their own kitchen during the kitchen meeting.
