Superheroes accompany us through our childhood. Typically, they are characterized above all by the fact that they put their actions in the service of justice. Some have superpowers, while others defeat their opponents with the help of their superior intelligence or advanced technology. They shine through high morals, but especially the modern superheroes are by no means perfect. They too have rough edges.
But what do entrepreneurs have in common with superheroes?
1. Superheroes often start out as underdogs
Even superheroes are sometimes bullied or experience other difficulties in their lives. Often, it is precisely this experience that inspires them to stand up for the weaker members of society.
Entrepreneurs also often start small, are not taken seriously or experience obstacles. And it is precisely these stories that we love so much: From underdog to successful entrepreneur.
2. Superheroes overcome obstacles
Just like superheroes, entrepreneurs have to overcome various obstacles. The important thing is not to lose sight of your goal.
3. Superheroes never give up
No matter how hopeless a situation may seem, superheroes never give up in order to achieve their goal.
Already successful entrepreneurs know that success is often behind an obstacle or setback. Keeping going makes all the difference.
4. Superheroes have a purpose
Superheroes know exactly what they stand for. As an entrepreneur, if you don't know your purpose, your venture is quickly doomed to failure.
5. Superheroes help others
While in most cases entrepreneurs don't save people from dicey, life-threatening situations like our comic book heroes, entrepreneurship should always be about solving problems.
6. Superheroes have courage
Both superheroism and entrepreneurship require courage.
As an entrepreneur, that often means getting out of your comfort zone and overcoming your own limitations.
7. Superheroes have courage
Superheroes have moral integrity. Integrity is also of particular importance for entrepreneurs. This is expressed, among other things, through authenticity and transparency.
8. Superheroes have a special gift
Entrepreneurs often also have one thing they are good at that propels them forward and makes them special.
Become a superhero - turn your life into a hero's journey!
